The play of light and dark, color and contrast, has always interested me. I first picked up a camera at the tender age of 5 and have been chasing the composition since. Although I fell into the world of costumes, I studied photography and art history. We learn from art of the past. We can live a moment in time as that moment was captured by an Artist. Colors and composition can speak to our souls and if we are lucky our eyes are opened and we see beauty in the everyday. I strive to breathe life into characters by studying the world around me. Life is so much stranger than fiction and it is so gratifying to bring a fictional stranger to life. 

I have been working in the world of Film, TV, and Theater for over 25 years. I graduated Cum Laude from Winthrop University with a BFA in Photography and a BA in Art History. I've made hats for The Hunger Games and masks for The Purge.
